Cyber Intel Analyst - GTA
Program Overview
Encompasses technical, engineering, data analytics, cyber security, management, operational, logistical, and administrative support for Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Cyber and Technology Security Directorate in three key offices/functional areas: Cyber Monitoring and Operations, Cyber Threat and Investigations, and Technology Innovation and Engineering State.
About The Role
Peraton is seeking a Cyber Intelligence Analyst with the Federal Strategic Cyber programs to support a high-impact cybersecurity and technology program focused on securing global infrastructure and enabling innovative, effective, and secure business processes. This Federal Strategic Cyber program provides comprehensive support across technical, engineering, data analytics, cybersecurity, management, operational, logistical, and administrative domains. The mission is to advise and assist the Cyber & Technology Security (CTS) Directorate in protecting a global cyber infrastructure—including networks, systems, information, and mobile devices—while proactively identifying and responding to cyber risks and threats.
Location: Arlington, VA (On-site)
In this role, you will:
- Support the Threat Analysis (TA) Program Team.
- Perform consolidated and comprehensive information and intelligence analysis of threat data obtained from classified, proprietary, and open-source resources to provide indication and warnings of impending attacks.
- Analyze and report on unique attack vectors, emerging cyber threats, and current trends used by malicious actors.
- Perform cyber and technical threat analyses of foreign countries, hacker groups, terrorist organizations and other entities with capabilities.
- Assess the cyber threat environment for US Missions worldwide.
- Provide cyber security guidance to internal personnel on threats to external accounts (e.g. employee personal accounts, official social media, etc.).
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree and minimum of 9 years of relevant experience required; 7 years with a Master's, 4 years with a PhD. An additional 4 years will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
- To be considered for this position, applicants must either currently hold one of the professional certifications listed below or obtain one prior to their start date. Continued certification is required as a condition of employment.

- Experience collecting, analyzing, and disseminating cyber threat intelligence gathered through open, proprietary, and collateral sources to provide assessments and briefings for its customers.
- Working knowledge in preparing assessments of current events based on the sophisticated collection, research, and analysis of classified and open-source information.
- Proficiency in collecting data via a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- A ctive Top Secret security clearance.
- Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Details
Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
