cleaning supervisor
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Supervisor to join our team in Richmond, VA, 23231. In this role, you will oversee the cleaning operations within our facility, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities of staff to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Train and mentor cleaning staff on best practices and safety procedures.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules to optimize workflow.
- Address and resolve any cleaning-related issues or complaints from staff and management.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and staff performance.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in cleaning management is a plus.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning or facilities management industry.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Proficient in basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
