Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Draftsman with a strong background in designing and drafting reinforced concrete swimming pools. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed construction drawings, structural layouts, and technical documentation for residential and commercial pool projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent AutoCAD skills, a solid understanding of concrete construction methods, and the ability to work closely with engineers, project managers, and construction teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for reinforced concrete swimming pools.
• Produce construction drawings, site plans, sections, elevations, and detailing.
• Draft steel reinforcement layouts and concrete structural details.
• Interpret architectural and structural engineering plans.
• Revise drawings based on client, engineer, and project manager feedback.
• Ensure drawings comply with local building codes and industry standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate drawing revisions and project documentation.
• Assist with material take-offs and quantity estimates where required.
• Ensure all drawings are completed accurately and within project deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of AutoCAD drafting experience .
• Proven experience preparing drawings for reinforced concrete swimming pools .
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 3D modeling software such as Civil 3D, Revit, or SketchUp.
• Knowledge of pool hydraulic systems and equipment layouts.
• Experience with residential and commercial pool construction.
• Understanding of local building regulations and permit requirements.
