Delivery Driver

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Classification: Hourly

Date: 9/25

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of poultry equipment and supplies to our customers

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate company delivery vehicles to transport poultry equipment, parts, and supplies to customer locations.
2. Load and unload trucks, ensuring all items are properly secured and handled to prevent damage.
3. Verify orders against delivery manifests before departure and upon arrival.
4. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly, answering basic questions, and resolving minor delivery issues.
5. Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
6. Inspect and perform basic maintenance checks on delivery vehicles (fuel, fluids, tires, cleanliness).
7. Report any delivery delays, vehicle issues, or customer concerns to the supervisor promptly.
8. Assist in the warehouse as needed, including order picking, packing, and inventory handling.
9. Unload equipment at job sites operating Telehandler, Skid Loader, etc.

Additional Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Clean driving record required
3. Valid driver's license (Medical Card Required).
4. Must be able to lift 75lbs
5. Able to work as part of a team; excellent team player skills required.
6. Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
