We are hiring for a Warehouse Manager on behalf of our client, an established organization focused on high-quality product distribution. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of fulfillment, inventory control, and quality assurance operations. This position reports to the General Manager and President and involves direct supervision of the warehouse and inventory staff.
Location: Sterling, VASchedule: Mon-Fri, 9:00am-5:00pm
Compensation: $35-$50/hr
Responsibilities:
- Direct all order picking, processing, and shipping activities to ensure customer deadlines are met.
- Streamline the receiving process by reviewing and updating incoming vendor order paperwork.
- Lead the fulfillment team in organizing inventory and maintaining clear, safe walkways throughout the facility.
- Perform daily and weekly physical inventory counts and coordinate with sales and procurement teams for reordering.
- Develop and monitor order tracking processes and communicate quality findings to stakeholders.
- Act as the final point of review for complex orders and international shipments.
- Assist in the design and implementation of warehouse shelving layouts and barcoding schemes.
- Execute quality assurance protocols by unpacking and testing all incoming and outgoing machinery and tools
- Manage the security of the warehouse and delegate the daily drop-off of outbound packages to various carriers.
Safety Responsibilities:
- Facilitate a culture of safety by conducting operations according to strict workplace standards.
- Utilize professional training platforms to stay certified and current on all workplace safety regulations.
- Instruct and train personnel on the proper handling and operation of warehouse machinery.
- Identify and alert upper management regarding any safety concerns that arise within the facility.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years in a warehouse managerial role
- experience using forklifts and scissor lifts
- Bilingual in Spanish Required
- comfortable navigating order systems
