Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Pharmacy Manager opportunity is available in the Fredericksburg, Virginia area. This contract role calls for an experienced professional to oversee pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient service delivery, compliance with regulations, and leadership of the pharmacy team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, including dispensing medications and managing inventory.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop pharmacy staff to provide exceptional patient care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and pharmacy records.
- Implement pharmacy policies and procedures to improve workflow and patient safety.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid pharmacist license in the state of Virginia.
- Proven experience as a Pharmacy Manager or similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy best practices, regulations, and medications.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and software.
