- Our client is a growing commercial HVACR service company in the Ashburn, VA area, serving Northern Virginia, Maryland, and occasional projects in Washington, DC. Their team supports a diverse commercial client base, including data centers, critical facilities, retail malls, restaurants, and grocery stores. As demand continues to grow, they are expanding their service team with experienced, self-sufficient technicians.
- Currently they are seeking a HVACR Apprentice to support service and installation operations across our Northern Virginia territory. This role is ideal for an experienced HVAC helper who is ready to take the next step toward a formal apprenticeship and long-term career growth. After one successful year as an HVACR Apprentice, you will officially begin accruing apprenticeship hours toward Journeyman licensing, with a structured path to licensure within five years. The HVACR Apprentice will be working in the field while receiving industry-leading benefits, consistent hours, and hands-on factory training.
Responsibilities:
- Assist HVACR technicians with service, maintenance, and installation of commercial and/or residential systems
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites
- Perform basic mechanical and troubleshooting tasks under supervision
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Support technicians across a multi-state service area as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of HVACR helper or related mechanical experience
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. overhead
- Willingness to work long and physically demanding hours
- Strong desire to learn and grow in the HVACR trade
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 18.00 - 20.00/hour range
- Guaranteed 40 hours/week with overtime availability
