Linen Distributor

: Maintains an orderly and sanitary environment in the Medical Center through the cleaning and distribution of linen.

• Collects launders folds and sorts linen.
• Stocks and supplies linen carts.
• Provides linen services.

• In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Position Compensation Range: $15.00 - $19.39 Hourly MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent. Experience: No experience required. Licensure: None required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping/traveling, reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive); Repetitive motion: Folding linen. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull > 100lbs. May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, heat, noise, dust, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
