Software Product Lead

We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead the development of our software product portfolio in a dynamic, multinational environment. The ideal candidate will guide cross-functional teams in an agile setting, manage both product and development processes, and drive the product from concept through to launch and iteration. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and manage a team of engineers/product practitioners (typically 5-10 people), fostering an agile, high-performing culture.
- Manage the full software product lifecycle: from requirement gathering, backlog prioritization, sprint planning, development, testing, release and post-launch iteration.
- Utilize development management tools (e.g., Jira, Slack, DevOps pipelines) to track progress, coordinate tasks, facilitate collaboration and ensure timely delivery.
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, design, QA, marketing, sales and operations to ensure alignment and efficient execution.
- Drive agile and sprint management practices: set sprint goals, monitor sprint progress, perform retrospectives and continuously improve team workflows.
- Operate effectively in a multi-culture, multi-national environment: navigate diverse team dynamics, remote/distributed teams, and cultural differences.
- Ensure product quality, scalability and maintainability by working with technical leads/engineers to define architecture, development standards and best practices.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of cloud platforms, specifically AWS (Amazon Web Services): including core services, architecture design, scalability, cost-optimization, security and best practices in a cloud environment. [Qualifications]
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience in leading software product development efforts (i.e., having led a software product from development to launch)
- Experience using development management tools such as Jira, Slack, DevOps or equivalent.
- Minimum 5-10 years of software development experience, including at least 1 year in a development management role (managing people, processes or both).
- Experience managing a team of 5-10 members, including mentoring, performance reviews and fostering collaboration.
- Solid experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), with demonstrated ability to manage sprints, backlog prioritization and agile rituals.
- Experience working in a multi-culture and multi-national environment (e.g., distributed teams, cross-border communication, diverse cultural contexts).
- Strong understanding of AWS cloud platform: experience with core AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, IAM/VPC), cloud architecture design, cost and performance optimization, security best practices, and ideally hands-on operational experience. Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced tech company environment.
- Strong technical background (understanding of software architecture, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines).
