Key Job Details – CT Rad Tech Travel Position

• Location: Roanoke, VA 24014 (Virginia healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (September 2, 2025 – December 2, 2025)
• Healthcare Setting: Diagnostic & Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM), rotating day off
• On-Call: 7 on-call shifts and 5 late shifts every 6 weeks; 30-minute call back time; 1 Saturday shift for elective cases per 6 weeks
• Patient Population: Adult patients (young, middle, and older adults)
• Charting System: Epic EMR

Qualifications – CT Radiologic Technologist

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech or Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
• Active ARRT certification (or RCIS/CCI certification)
• Current Virginia state license or eligibility to work under another state license while VA license is pending (90-day authorization)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Prior travel healthcare job experience required
• Interventional radiology or critical care experience preferred
• Current RTT or RTR status preferred

Responsibilities – Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures, including:
  • Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult)
  • Coronary and Orbital Athrectomy
  • IABP Placement and Removal
  • Impella Insertion
  • Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
  • Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA)
  • Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR)
  • Left Atrial Appendage Closures, Mitral Clips, Renal Denervation, and more
• Monitor and document patient status throughout procedures
• Set up and operate specialized cath lab equipment (Intra Aortic Balloon Pumps, Impella, Penumbra, Rotapro, CSI, Shockwave, Laser, OCT, IVUS)
• Maintain sterile field and ensure proper equipment setup
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Participate in rotating holiday and weekend coverage as required
