Patient Care Specialist - Community Events
Norfolk, VA Work Shift
First (Days) Overview: SMG Community Care Center is hiringa Patient Care Specialist - Community Events! This position will support events that are held in the community. Job Summary:
- Position Status: Part-time, 20 hours per week
- Schedule: Flexible availability Monday through Saturday, between 8AM and 5PM
- Transportation: Reliable transportation required
- Travel: Event coverage required, with travel between Williamsburg and Virginia Beach
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Associate Level degree or higher in lieu of the required experience will be considered.
- Three years' Customer Service experience required.
- One year experience with Health Insurance Plans, Medical Records Data, Medical Terminology, Registration, Scheduling, or Third-Party Payers required.
- Prior pre-authorization experience preferred.
- Electronic Medical Record preferred.
