TRAINING SUPERVISOR
Make meaningful contributions that fuel critical outcomes for some of the most complex government, defense, and intelligence projects. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACTAs a Training Supervisor, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the Navy and Marine Corps Sector. You will play a crucial role in training the GDIT Team to execute work safely.
● Lead/Manage/Support QEHS Training supporting Waterfront and Industrial Site Operations
● Collaborate with team members to develop and improve QEHS training
● Drive first time quality and Safety all the time mindset.
● Utilize Microsoft office and other computer programs. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your QEHS Training expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Training Supervisor must have:
● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
● Experience: 5+ years of related experience, knowledge of US Navy fleet modernization work in shipyard environment, knowledge of OSHA 1910 and 1915, Knowledge of NAVSEA Standard Items
● Technical skills: Skilled in waterfront operations including Hot work, paint removal
● US citizenship required
● Role requirements: Ability to access both Private and Public Shipyards.
