Colonial Plumbing, Heating & Air, a respected family-owned company serving Colonial Heights, VA, is seeking a full-time HVAC Technician to join our professional team. This position offers a competitive base pay of $32 – $45 per hour , with total annual compensation ranging from $70,000 to over $100,000/year for top performers. In addition to a $5,000 sign-on bonus (paid over time), employees receive our company's generous benefits , such as:

WHAT YOUR DAY IS LIKE

As an HVAC Technician at Colonial Plumbing, Heating & Air, you will begin each day equipped with a company-provided vehicle, traveling to service appointments throughout Colonial Heights and the surrounding areas. Your responsibilities will include installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will diagnose issues, recommend appropriate solutions, and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards. Professional communication with both customers and team members will be an essential part of your daily routine. You will also participate in company events, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.

WHAT'S NEEDED FROM AN HVAC TECHNICIAN?

Schedule: The HVAC Technician position is full-time , with a standard work schedule of Monday through Friday, typically from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM . Our location south of the river provides a convenient commute with less traffic.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of HVAC experience (residential or commercial)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• EPA certification (Type II or Universal preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Commitment to safety, integrity, and quality work
