Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Bridgewater, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic food and beverage location, helping to identify and respond to security-related concerns while remaining visible throughout assigned areas. This role offers the chance to deliver strong customer service and communication, support daily operations through teamwork, and bring a reliable, caring, and integrity-driven approach to every shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, facility concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through appropriate channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to verify approved entry and/or exit of employees, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or policy-related concerns in clear written reports and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
