Lead Generator Rep (Non-Driving)(FT)

Responsibilities
Summary
The Lead Generator willbe responsible forproactively engagingeducatingand persuadinga consumertoschedule an in-home sales consultation with the clients sales team. Thismaybe working at FairsFestivals HomeShowsand/or retail locationswhere leads could be generated for the client. The positionrequires a combination of an outgoing personality and the ability to quicklydetermineif the consumer is anidealcandidate for the clients products and services. Having some basic knowledge of home improvement products and services would be beneficial to the performance of this position. Primary duties include actively seeking out consumers andeducatethem on the benefits of the clients products. He/she will also need todetermineif the consumer is a homeowner or notand ifsosuggest that they schedule a free in-home consultation with the clients sales team.
Essential Job Functions:
- Proactively engages and educates consumers on the benefits ofpurchasingthe products and services of the client
- Qualifies the consumer todetermineif they are the right profile forpurchasingthe products and services of the client
- Performs demonstrations of the clients products to allow the consumer to fully understand the benefits of the products
- Convinces the consumer to schedule a Free in-home consultation with the clients sales team
- Collects and entersappropriate consumerand competitive data required by the client into a MarketSource work order system
Qualifications
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to meet deadlines with little supervision (Self-starter)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational analytical andproblem solvingskills
- Understanding of business systems business processes and client expectations
- Proactive self-motivated entrepreneurial attitude
- Working knowledge with the Internet andweb baseddata collection and reporting
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GEDrequired
- 2 years minimumlead generationor retail sales experience
- 2 years minimum experience in successful support roles
- Must be available to work primarily on weekends.
