Product Owner, Tax - Americas Tax Technology Group (ATTG) Senior Manager (Multiple Positions) (1638776), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Tysons (McLean), VA.
Oversee applications & products throughout their lifecycle, ensuring business relevance, adoption & continuous improvement. Assist with annual planning based on roadmaps and the development of business cases in support of the governance process. Coordinate activities at all levels of the organization on issues and matters related to the products. Direct the continual upgrading of ATTG products, procedures and operating environments to maintain currency with technological progress, economic change, and all business needs. Develop annual budgets and manage expenditures in order to operate within approved budget guidelines. Provide field communications regarding planned or unplanned production issues. Coordinate or deliver of training to Product Support Services (PSS) team members on all new releases and updates to the application. Formulate test plans and strategies to coordinate/execute user acceptance testing. Make decisions and recommend approach based on the results from quality reviews. Understand and learn tax law and technology implications at a high level. Provide the necessary leadership and guidance to help team members understand focus area strategies and knowledge needs.
Lead and direct teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds by providing constructive on-the-job feedback/coaching to team members. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Manage risk in the delivery of quality client services. Generate and manage new business opportunities.Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or a related field, and 8 years of related work experience, of which at least 5 years must be progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or a related field, and 7 years of related work experience.
Must have 6 years of experience in tax domain knowledge including financial compliance and reporting vendor software. Must have 6 years of experience managing implementation teams to adhere to internal standards across all phases of the software development lifecycle including the functional and non-functional phases. Must have 4 years of experience conducting design thinking sessions and developing business capability matrix’s. Must have 4 years of experience converting business and technical requirements into appropriate solutions. Must have 4 years of experience supporting peer teams such as infrastructure, operations, enterprise architecture, and/or information security. Must have 4 years of experience managing relationships with business sponsors and vendors to facilitate smooth development and implementation of products. Must have 4 years of combined management experience including providing supervision and direction to team members and staff; leading a functional team with responsibility for utilization, assignments, and reports to a pillar leader; overseeing training and standards for functional team performance. Requires domestic travel up to 5%, to serve client needs. The base salary for this job is $ 226,540.00 per year.
