Job Description

This position involves providing project and on-site engineering services, including programming, start-up, training, modifications, and troubleshooting on revenue-generating projects. The role includes managing multiple projects and teams, encompassing a range of project management responsibilities from quotation and specification to execution, resource allocation, and ensuring on-time performance and profitability. You will also conduct independent factory and field troubleshooting and training for control panels in target markets, and offer secondary technical support for specific products and applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform project and on-site engineering services including programming, start-up, training, modifications, and troubleshooting.
• Manage multiple projects, including managing teams consisting of team members, contractors, and customer personnel.
• Generate quotations, specifications, project plans, and execute and manage projects.
• Allocate and manage resources, specify and procure materials, schedule and execute projects.
• Provide independent factory and field troubleshooting and training for control panels.
• Achieve familiarity and working knowledge to support all control panel products.
• Provide secondary technical support to customers, field engineers, and sales channels.
• Offer instrument and system-level software and communications support to customers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot customer applications remotely or on-site.
• Provide escalation support from Technical Support personnel.

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years experience with industrial control in support roles.
• Knowledge and use of AutoCAD.
• Trained in mechanical engineering and basics of electronics and control theory.
• Working knowledge of UL508A and NEC electrical standards.
• Knowledge of hazardous area requirements.
• Experience in control panel design and integration or similar standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ashburn, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00/hr.
