• Location: Virginia Beach, VA 23454 (Virginia nursing jobs)
• Unit: Surgery Unit 1 – Telemetry
• Employment Type: Locum tenens / Travel RN contract
• Start Date: August 10, 2025
• End Date: August 31, 2025
• Assignment Length: 3 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (36 hours/week)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1770–$1820

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (Virginia or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience
• BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a hospital setting
• Strong communication, clinical, and critical thinking skills
• Previous travel RN or locum tenens experience preferred

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care on the Telemetry unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Educate patients and families on care plans and procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
