Your impact

• Run end-to-end heat-treat operations for diverse steel parts.
• Dial in furnace temperatures to the specified material/process profile.
• Stage, load, and unload parts, keeping takt time on target.
• Continuously monitor furnace and line performance against operational settings.
• Interpret operational sequences and final dimensions.
• Execute inspections: visual, gauges, SPC tracking, and blueprint interpretation.
• Conduct hardness checks to validate results.
• Set up equipment and tooling; use hand and power tools to safely set up presses.
• Remove, clean, and replace tooling to sustain throughput and quality.
• Complete preventive maintenance and inspections on heat-treat equipment and fork trucks.
• Collaborate closely with teammates to deliver quality and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain production documentation and quality records with accuracy.
• Perform effectively under physical and environmental demands.
• Identify, tag, and segregate nonconforming parts per standards.
• Troubleshoot part compliance and equipment issues; escalate to the Control Room Operator, Specialist or Maintenance when needed.
• Operate with minimal supervision; reliably produce repeat and first-run parts to spec.
• Practice daily 6S and housekeeping; monitor scrap containers.
• Other duties, as assigned.

What you need to succeed

• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug & background screening
• Capability to lift, push, and pull 10–50 lbs.
• Consistent standing and movement across the department and shift.
• Use of employer-provided PPE as required.
• Mechanical aptitude; industrial experience preferred.
