Position Summary

As part of the 123 Equiment Solutions team and broader Tech24 network, the Hot & Cold Technicians plays a critical role in servicing both commercial cooking (hot side) and refrigeration (cold side) equipment. This role is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of commercial kitchen and refrigeration systems while delivering exceptional customer service. This position is ideal for a skilled technician who takes pride in solving problems, minimizing customer downtime, and representing the company with professionalism.

Key Responsi bilities

• Loads, transports, and installs commercial kitchen equipment into restaurants.
• Inspects the commercial kitchen equipment and their related components to ensure safe operation.
• Communicates with customer and branch office regarding status of installs to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated with customers.
• Completes service tickets according to procedures.
• Performs manual tasks such as: bending, reaching, standing, lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., or maneuvering heavier items with additional manpower or appropriate devices.
• Tracks truck stock to insure needed parts are stocked on vehicle.
• Sustains service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to Tech24 standards.
• Sets a positive example for less experienced and/or new technicians by being a Company advocate.
• Follows all company policies and procedures, particularly regarding safety.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• EPA certification or other refrigeration license
• 3 - 5 years of similar job experience
• Superb customer service skills
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Ability to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters
• Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory
• Ability to work some nights, weekend, and holidays for on-call rotation with your department (frequency varies with department size

Compensation Transparency

The advertised pay range for this position is $25-$40 per hour . Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience level, technical certifications, skill set, and overall qualifications. Candidates with advanced expertise in both commercial hot-side and cold-side equipment may be considered toward the higher end of the range.
