Salary: $90,000-$120,000 per year
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

About the Role

We are recruiting a Physical Therapist Director for an outpatient physical therapy office in Winchester, VA. This role is for a licensed Physical Therapist who enjoys working directly with patients while also helping guide the clinical team and daily clinic operations.

The Physical Therapist Director helps set the tone for patient care in the clinic. From evaluations and treatment planning to staff support and documentation review, this role keeps care organized, effective, and focused on helping patients move better, recover stronger, and return to daily activities with more confidence.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct outpatient physical therapy treatment
• Lead daily clinical services and support the therapy team
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans of care when needed
• Review documentation for accuracy, quality, and compliance
• Support staff with treatment planning, clinical questions, and workflow needs
• Coordinate with physicians, referral sources, patients, and families
• Help maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming clinic environment

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, staff, and providers
