Job Description:
Lead the development of interactive software experiences, blending creativity and technology to bring immersive museum exhibits to life.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Serve as lead software engineer for major interactive projects, including museum installations

• Split development between Unity 3D/C# and HTML-based visual interfaces

• Review and guide code quality across project teams

• Collaborate with vendors to ensure hardware and software integration

• Prioritize project tasks, interface with internal teams, and manage technical standards

• Mentor junior developers and uphold coding best practices

• Develop in an agile environment using Git and unit-testing frameworks

Requirements:

• Must-Haves:

  • 5 years developing location-based interactive experiences (museums, events, etc.)

  • 5 years Unity 3D with C#

  • Strong HTML skills for creative visual content (not static sites)

  • React experience

  • Proficient with Git and familiar with unit testing

  • Agile development background

  • Proven ability to lead, review code, and mentor junior engineers

  • Strong communication and collaborative mindset

• Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with sensors or computer vision tech

  • Mobile or AR application development
