Daycare Assistant

Summary

We are looking for a reliable, caring Daycare Assistant to join our small, family-style daycare. This is a hands-on role for someone who truly loves children, enjoys being outdoors, and is not afraid of getting a little messy while having fun.

Our daycare is bilingual, and all native languages are welcome.
We value cultural diversity and believe it enriches our children’s learning experience.

Duties

Playing with children and actively engaging in daily activities
• Assisting with crafts, learning activities, and outdoor play
• Changing diapers and helping with potty training
• Helping children with proper hand washing and hygiene
• Serving meals and washing dishes after meals
• Cleaning and sanitizing daycare areas daily
• Taking children outside to the playground
• Helping children feed and care for farm animals
• Supporting a safe, loving, and structured environment

Requirements

Must love working with children
• Patient, kind, and dependable
• Comfortable with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Enjoys being outdoors in all seasons
• Comfortable around farm animals
• Able to follow daycare routines and safety rules
• Must pass background check (required for childcare licensing)

Preferred (but not required):
• Childcare or daycare experience
• CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain)
