Job Title: Office Assistant II-Information Technology

Job Locations: Virginia Beach VA 23464

Schedule: Rotating Day and Evening shifts required. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 7:30 am-12:00 am

Job Duties:

The Department of Information Technology requires a consulting resource to assist with the Enterprise Printing Program and administrative support. Selected candidate will be scheduled to work rotating day/evening shifts to support organizational and operational needs.

Coordinate and manage print requests from PC to printer
- Complete daily print and user requests
- Record daily print requests in spreadsheets
- Manage large volume prints requests
- Perform quality control checks on printed materials
- Respond to and manage customer requests and questions
- Manage inventory on supplies and paper
- Submit maintenance requests for hardware
- Edit printer templates and forms
- Verify billing statements

Requirements:

- Large scale print experience or comparable knowledge
- Ability to follow directions and understand written procedures
- Ability to work independently
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong memorization and recall abilities
- Ability to use computer systems, and related equipment including large production printer, computer workstations.
- Possess basic skills and knowledge of desktop hardware, and Microsoft 365 applications including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Windows 11 operating system

Minimum/Special/Additional Requirements:

High school or GED plus one year of experience with Microsoft 365.
- Basic understanding of information technology terminology
- Rotating Day and Evening shifts required. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 7:30 am-12:00 am
- Junior Level: 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Mid-Level: 4-6 years of relevant experience
