- As part of a major initiative to modernize the Single Family Corporate Data Warehouse (SF CDW), we are launching a significant application modernization effort within our Finance organization.
- To ensure a seamless transition and reduce disruption, we are seeking experienced Data Analysts who can help identify critical system dependencies and assist in modernizing legacy data platforms and workflows.
- This role is ideal for candidates who are highly analytical, comfortable working across large-scale enterprise systems, and have a strong background in data mapping, ETL, and data warehousing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify application and system dependencies on the current CDW platform.
- Analyze and interpret Business Requirement Specifications (BRS) and ETL code to support modernization goals.
- Work with stakeholders to define data requirements for Finance and Accounting systems.
- Develop detailed mapping documents capturing data flows, transformations, and system interactions.
- Create and validate complex SQL scripts to assist with data analysis and migration.
- Assist in mapping source systems to Nexus and defining derivation logic as part of the modernization effort.
- Support the transformation of legacy data into the new EBM format.
- Ensure clear documentation and traceability of all data lineage and mapping efforts.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in data analysis, data warehousing, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and ability to read and interpret ETL code.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as DataStage, Informatica, SAS, and Python.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, validation, and script development.
- Solid understanding of enterprise-scale systems and data environments.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Corporate Data Warehouses (especially CDW).
- Prior experience in finance and accounting data flows.
- Exposure to modernization or data migration initiatives.
- Knowledge of Nexus platform and EBM data formats is a plus.
