Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to ensure a safe working environment by implementing effective safety controls and conducting job walks. This role involves delivering safety orientations and conducting thorough injury investigations.

Responsibilities

• Implement safety controls to maintain a secure work environment.
• Conduct regular job walks to monitor safety compliance.
• Lead safety orientations to educate team members on safety protocols.
• Investigate and report on workplace injuries to prevent future incidents.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in safety, preferably in industrial construction.
• Proficiency in safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Experience with OSHA 30 and OSHA 510 certifications.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of New Market, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
