PRN Hospitalist NP/PA (Manassas)

UVA Community Health is seeking to employ a PRN Inpatient Hospitalist NP or PA to join our provider team at Prince William Medical Center. Culpeper Medical Center serves the diverse northern Virginia community with inpatient and outpatient services, including a 70-bed hospital, Family Birth Center, and 24/7 emergency department.

As part of the UVA Health Systemrecognized nationally for safety and qualityyou will be part of a team that invests in technology, facilities, and expertise to continually improve community healthcare.

Responsibilities include:

1. Visiting bedside and answering questions
2. Ordering tests, medications, and treatments
3. Communicating with patients, families, and primary care physicians about condition and care
4. Consulting with specialists as needed
5. Providing discharge instructions about further care, medication, and follow-up
6. Sending a hospital care summary to the primary care physician

Prince William Medical Center

Located in Manassas, Virginia, our campus includes a 130-bed acute care hospital with a 24/7 emergency room, Prince William Ambulatory Surgery Center, behavioral health, fitness, and wellness centers, and UVA Health System Caton Merchant House, an assisted-living facility.
