Veterinary Assistant – Swift Creek Animal Hospital & Pet Resort

Swift Creek Animal Hospital & Pet Resort is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our crew of compassionate animal lovers. What You’ll Be Doing:• Assisting our doctors during appointments, surgeries, and vaccinations
• Performing blood draws, taking X-rays, and caring for instruments & clippers
• Keeping exam rooms, floors, and hospital areas clean and welcoming
• Helping with bathing pets (rubber ducky playlist optional )
• Managing laundry (because clean towels = happy patients!)
• Communicating with clients, doctors, teammates, and referral clinics
• Submitting prescriptions and entering important patient information
• Assisting with inventory and making sure we never run out of the good stuff
• Lifting up to 40 lbs multiple times a day (think adorable but wiggly pups) What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant
• A friendly, team-oriented personality with great communication skills
• A love for animals and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed
• Someone who thrives in a busy, team-centered environment The Perks:
