Yes Job Description: Maintenance Trades Helper - Machinist Trainee Job Duties and Responsibilities: Operate and maintain plasma burn tables, hand grinders, scrapers, and tape measures with proficiency. Perform tasks, including metal material stretching, layout processes, and plate cleaning and de-burring. Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings, solving problems as needed. Operate CNC machinery with the ability to download programs via disc, flash drive, or direct connect. Perform cuts and nesting activities as defined by production requirements. Build understanding of machining principles, assisting in operational efficiency and quality improvements. Safely operate overhead cranes and other heavy machinery to move and position materials. Perform daily equipment operational checks and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Ensure adherence to production schedules and deadlines. The likely hourly rate for this position is between $21.25 - $28.75. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
