We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to help keep our plant running safely and efficiently. This role is responsible for repairing, maintaining, adjusting, and troubleshooting a wide range of production machinery and equipment. You’ll work hands-on with mechanical, electrical, and fabrication tasks and assist production as needed. Maintenance Technician Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $18.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 06:00pm )
Key Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain plant machinery including mixers, mills, extruders, conveyors, and related equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues
- Reassemble machines after repairs or maintenance
- Start and observe machines to ensure proper operation and efficiency
- Perform preventive maintenance on a daily, weekly, and monthly schedule
- Lubricate machines and apply adhesives or materials per specifications
- Install, replace, or modify machine parts and attachments
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Broad knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and maintenance operations
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Forklift maintenance experience a plus
- Comfortable using computers and maintenance tracking systems
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
