Payroll Senior Manager
- Provide oversight and direction for the Federal Reserve System payroll function to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services, while driving best practices and process improvements.
- Maintain broad knowledge, interpretation, and application of multi-state payroll concepts, payroll processing, IRS regulations, and policies and procedures.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive payroll strategy, through data analysis, resource planning, and knowledge of industry practices.
- Provide technical leadership by planning, delivering, evolving, and improving products and processes.
- Connect across functional areas to influence, serve as a thought partner, and drive strategy.
- Utilize change management practices to support employees through change, effectively drive results and ensure successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with key partners in Finance, Legal and IT as well as third party suppliers to deliver strategic priorities.
- Champion an environment of feedback and coaching, and ensure team member accountability through effective goal setting.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience by seeking to understand evolving customer requirements, expectations, and needs.
- Facilitate discussions around complex issues to develop a common understanding, effectively manage risk, and ensure issue resolution. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 9+ years of relevant functional work experience
- 3-5+ years of leadership/management experience
- Working knowledge of payroll practices and previous experience leading a payroll function
- Workday software experience as it relates to payroll and taxes
- American Payroll Certification or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC), or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
- Strong collaboration, communication, analytical and presentation skills
- Advanced analytical, planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills required to direct and lead staff
- Ability to coach and develop direct reports to enhance and improve professional effectiveness through capability development including consultation, solutioning, agility, courage, critical thinking, collaboration, change management, and strategic problem solving.

- Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual's knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications/experience.
- The hiring range for the Sr Manager - Payroll is $109,000-136,300
