As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and respond to concerns with a service-first approach. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or public agency contacts as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas; verify identification and/or authorization as required, and direct visitors and deliveries according to posted procedures.
• Complete detailed written reports and logs regarding patrol observations, unusual conditions, incidents, and/or service calls, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
