Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Onsite during the first 90 days

Job Description:

The Human Resources Manager will oversee daily HR operations, supporting all functions including benefits, employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and performance management. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to department leaders and act as a strategic business partner in driving employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the HR department, ensuring compliance and consistency across all HR programs and policies.
• Manage employee relations issues and serve as a resource for conflict resolution, investigations, and coaching for managers.
• Oversee recruitment and onboarding activities, partnering with department heads to meet staffing needs.
• Administer and reconcile employee benefits, ensuring accurate billing and timely processing.
• Coordinate performance management processes, ensuring timely completion of reviews and feedback cycles.
• Maintain HR records, compliance reporting, and documentation in accordance with federal and state regulations.
• Support audits, policy reviews, and internal communication initiatives.
• Utilize HR systems (Paycom or similar) to optimize processes and track HR metrics.
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets, invoices, and expense reconciliations.
• Partner with leadership to promote employee engagement and retention initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• 5–8 years of progressive HR experience with exposure to all major HR functions.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience managing at least two direct reports.
• Experience working in a unionized or customer service-oriented environment is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations (FMLA, FLSA, EEO, ADA, HIPAA, COBRA, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience with benefits administration, billing, and reconciliation.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems (Paycom, ADP, Workday, or similar).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
