Job Summary
The Materials Handler supports manufacturing operations by managing the movement, handling, and flow of materials within the facility. This role is responsible for offloading and loading incoming and outgoing materials, transporting products and hoppers, and assisting with inventory and logistics functions.
Job Description
- Load, unload, and transport incoming and outgoing materials within the facility
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Move products, components, and hoppers as required to support production needs
- Support inventory control and logistics activities
- Collaborate with manufacturing and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a strong safety-first mindset
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Skills Required
- Forklift operation experience required
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Physically able to lift, move, and handle materials as required
- Reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented
- Experience in inventory or warehouse/logistics support is a plus
Education/Training/Certifications
- High School Diploma or GED
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass drug screen & criminal background check
- Shift Hours: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. No overtime
Pay Rate/Salary
- $20.00 - $23.50/hr. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors
