Step into hospitality excellence at Ford’s Colony Country Club , where tradition meets charm, and every guest is treated like a VIP. We’re looking for a warm, polished, and personable Host to be the face of our dining experience — someone who knows that a genuine welcome sets the tone for an unforgettable visit.
Compensation: $12.77/hr + tips
What You’ll Be Doing:
As our Host , you’ll be the cornerstone of hospitality — greeting guests with grace, seating them efficiently, and keeping the flow of the dining room smooth and serene. You'll:
- Welcome guests with warmth, using their names when known
- Take and manage reservations like a pro
- Maintain a tidy and stylish host station
- Communicate clearly with servers and managers to ensure a seamless dining experience
- Share knowledge about daily specials, menus, and wine offerings
- Manage guest expectations with finesse, even during high-volume moments
- Assist the restaurant team to ensure tables are perfectly prepped and guests leave delighted
- Keep your cool, keep it clean, and keep it classy — always
What We're Looking For:
- 1+ year of experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- A high school diploma or GED
- Professional presence and a naturally welcoming personality
- A love for details and a calm under pressure
- Strong communication skills — in person and over the phone
- Passion for teamwork and an eye for guest satisfaction
- A knack for problem-solving and thinking ahead
