Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Virginia Occupational Therapy (OT) license.
• Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proven ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Energetic, compassionate, and committed to student development.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade in accordance with IEP goals.
• Assess and document student progress, maintaining accurate student records.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff to provide holistic care.
• Develop engaging activities and interventions to promote students’ independence and participation in school routines.
• Attend meetings, contribute insights to multidisciplinary teams, and participate in continuing education as needed.

This opportunity is a school-based contract assignment beginning August 31, 2026, and running through June 11, 2027. You’ll be scheduled 37.5 hours per week, working five days a week with a diverse and inspiring group of students.
