Electrical Engineer, PE - Design

Webuild () is actively seeking an accomplished Electrical Engineer / Project Manager to play a critical part in the management of facility electrical systems design, construction, and commissioning for a diverse range of corporate, governmental, and military facilities on a global scale.

The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in facility and/or building design, with a strong track record of managing project life cycles. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including:

• Project Management: You will assist or lead project efforts, from the initial development of conceptual plans to the commissioning of equipment within both new and renovated facilities. This includes conducting research, evaluating and developing electrical designs, defining scopes of work, preparing cost estimates and budgets, creating schedules, reviewing schematics, overseeing construction activities, and ensuring successful project completion within established timelines and budgets.
• Facility Systems : The Electrical Engineer / Project Manager will be responsible for the turnover, commissioning, and qualification of facility systems. You will gather operational and performance data to ensure efficient operations. Additionally, you will play a vital role in planned shutdowns and equipment modifications, focusing on medium and low voltage electrical distribution, critical power/redundancy, UPS systems, data centers, security systems, telecommunications, solar power installations, and cabling systems for complex corporate, governmental, and military facilities worldwide.
• Collaboration: You will collaborate closely with facilities personnel, stakeholders, design professionals, and senior management on a daily basis. Part of your responsibilities will also include overseeing electrical design standards and maintaining CAD libraries.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) required. Proficiency with AutoCAD desired. Must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Position will require travel nationally as needed

An active Security Clearance is mandatory for this role. Previous experience working with entities such as the Department of State, US Army Corps of Engineers, and/or the Department of Defense (DoD) is a significant advantage.
