Welder Lv. 1 Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $22.00 to $26.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Thursday from 05:45am to 04:30pm )

• Perform fitting and welding of non-pressurized, structural components using MIG and Flux Core techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols to ensure accurate project completion.
• Prepare and clean metal surfaces for welding using grinders, torches, and plasma cutters.
• Inspect welds for quality and compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• Operate and maintain welding machines, hand tools, and other shop equipment safely and efficiently.

Welder Lv. 1 Qualifications:

• Previous welding experience required; ability to read blueprints and interpret weld symbols preferred.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in MIG and/or Flux Core welding techniques.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and work in various positions throughout the shift.
• Must be able to obtain a DOT weld qualification and respirator certification if required.
• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or welding program preferred, not required.
• Must pass background check and drug screen (including THC).
