Director of Partnership Sales

We’re seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial Director of Partner Sales to drive Lovelytics’ next phase of growth. This senior leader will build and scale our partner ecosystem across major cloud providers, Databricks, and key ISV alliances. You’ll blend strategic partner development with a hunter sales mentality and the passion of a brand evangelist — all to position Lovelytics as the Databricks partner of choice for our customers and on Azure, AWS, and GCP.
This role is open to remote candidates in the US, with preference for those in the DC Metro Area.Primary Responsibilities:
- Own and achieve a partner-sourced sales quota with MBO tied to net-new revenue.
- Develop and expand strategic relationships with Azure, AWS, GCP, and Databricks field teams to position Lovelytics as the go-to partner for Databricks implementations on each cloud.
- Build joint GTM plans with cloud partner teams to drive pipeline growth, accelerate deal cycles, and maximize co-selling opportunities.
- Secure and accelerate Partner funding (MDF, Accelerate, ECIF, MAP, co-sell incentives, etc.) from cloud or ISV partners, tied to delivery acceleration, GTM, or pipeline growth.
- Manage and close partner-sourced opportunities in collaboration with Lovelytics’ sales, marketing, and delivery teams to deliver value and repeatable wins.
- Forecast and report on partner pipeline, influenced and sourced revenue, and overall partner sales contribution.
- Partner Offering Launches: Launch of campaign-ready partner offerings/ Databricks Brickbuilders, aligned to strategic use cases (e.g., GenAI, Migrations) and/or Industry Solutions, field-enabled and are externally promotable
- Drive deal registrations, joint pipeline creation, and opportunity acceleration with Databricks, cloud, and ISV partners.
- Manage partner competency requirements, certifications, and status levels to elevate Lovelytics’ partner tiering across Azure, AWS, GCP, and Databricks.
- Secure and maximize partner funding programs (MDF, co-op, incentives) to fuel co-selling and marketing initiatives. Understanding all funding mechanisms and propose funding opportunities in Lovelytics sales opportunities where possible.
- Collaborate with GTM and delivery leaders to develop joint offerings and solution accelerators that align to cloud partner priorities.
- Be a Lovelytics brand evangelist- represent Lovelytics as a trusted advisor and strategic voice within the partner ecosystem and enable partner field teams to position Lovelytics as the Databricks partner of choice for modern data and AI solutions.
Qualifications:
- A senior-level sales and alliances leader with 8-15 years of experience in cloud/data/ISV ecosystem consulting — Databricks experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding partner-sourced sales targets.
- Experienced in developing partner programs, securing partner funding, and executing joint go-to-market motions with major cloud providers.
- A relationship builder with strong executive presence — equally comfortable influencing C-level partners and inspiring internal teams.
- A self-starter with a high-growth mindset and hunger to build and scale a modern partner sales engine.
- Proven track record of handling multiple partners and partner programs across worldwide geographies and time zones.
- An excellent communicator, collaborator, and brand storyteller.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- A willingness to travel (approximately 25%)
