About The Role

Peraton seeks a hard charging systems administrator to join a high-achieving team meeting mission critical requirements. As the systems administer, you use Apache NiFi to manage the routings and configurations of new and existing data flows from a range of sources to downstream data exploitation software applications. You work with mission partners to produce the governance and accesses for the data. You manage the processing of all archival data for special data types and data sources. You use Splunk to monitor data and troubleshoot data flow of feeds. You monitor the health of AWS clusters and troubleshoot issues. You perform corrective action such as restarting or replacing bad nodes. You provide version control of thee AWS NIFI clusters committing local changes to the production NIFI clusters ensuring changes are in sync.

Qualifications

Required :

• Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
• TS/SCI clearance with Poly required
• Familiarity with using AWS services
• Demonstrated attention to detail attributes
• Demonstrated effective oral and written communicate skills

Desired:

• Experience using Apache NiFi
• Experience with the customer's data governance processes
• Experience providing operational mission support

Details

Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
