Ready‑Mix Logistics Driver — Construction Site Delivery (CDL)

It’s early. You complete your pre‑trip, get your route from dispatch, and roll out. As the drum turns, you keep an eye on mix consistency. At the site, you maneuver confidently through equipment and crews, position the truck, deliver cleanly, and keep the operation moving. You log the ticket, rinse down, and line up the next job—always professional, always safe.
Your responsibilities
- Drive a ready‑mix mixer truck to deliver concrete to customer locations.
- Perform and document pre‑trip/post‑trip inspections; report any mechanical concerns.
- Complete routine maintenance tasks: fueling and checks of fluids, tires, and lights.
- Clean drum, chutes, and equipment between deliveries.
- Assess mix consistency while in transit.
- Accurately record deliveries and return signed tickets.
- Communicate in real time with dispatch, coworkers, and customers.
- Navigate job sites with caution and good judgment around obstacles.
- Provide courteous, professional service on every delivery.
Qualifications
- Current Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record and DOT qualification.
- 1 year of mixer or commercial driving experience preferred.
- Required construction experience: active jobsite exposure, site safety awareness, and capability on uneven or rough terrain.
- Physically able to climb, lift chutes, and use cleaning/maintenance tools.
- Team player with strong communication skills and a strict safety focus aligned to DOT rules and company policies.
Conditions you can expect
- Outdoor work through changing weather and seasons.
- Regular climbing, bending, lifting; proximity to heavy equipment.
- Early morning starts; weekend work and overtime as needed.
