Smith Station Elementary School Hourly Cafeteria Monitor 2526 SY

Spotsylvania County Public Schools is seeking Cafeteria Monitor s to assist in the maintenance of an orderly safe and pleasant atmosphere in the cafeteria by supervising assisting and supporting students at lunch during the 2025-2026 School Year.

RESPONSIBILITIES IN CAFETERIA:

• Circulate among the tables during the mealtime so as to be available to children who need help.
• Assist the janitorial staff with the cleanliness of tables and surrounding areas by washing tables when students leave the cafeteria.
• Assist in establishing implementing and supervising orderly disposal of food waste return of trays and dismissal from the cafeteria.
• Help students develop proper eating habits in theareas of manners and nutrition.
• Observe students not eating lunch and call to the attention of school nurse.
• Perform any other duties or responsibilities designated bythe Cafeteria Manager.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
