AP Specialist- Construction
🔎 Now Hiring: Onsite Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist
📍 Location: Lorton, VA (Onsite Only)
💼 Full-Time | $70,000–$75,000/year + Discretionary Bonus, generous benefits, PTO and more!
Are you a seasoned Accounts Payable professional looking for a stable, long-term opportunity in the construction industry ? We’re looking for a detail-oriented and reliable AP Specialist to join our team onsite in Lorton, VA .
This role is perfect for someone with a strong AP background who can hit the ground running, manage high-volume invoices, and support key financial functions in a fast-paced office environment.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage $1–2 million/month in AP transactions
- Handle AIA billing and lien releases
- Support general office accounting functions
- Utilize Construction Partners software for AP processing
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate payments
✅ What We’re Looking For:
Must-Haves:
- 3+ years of AP experience
- Prior exposure to construction accounting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with AIA billing and lien release workflows
- Self-sufficient and organized — can work with minimal training
- Comfortable working onsite full-time in Lorton, VA
- No degree required — we value experience over credentials
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the construction industry (commercial or residential)
- Proficiency with Construction Partners or similar accounting software
