Position Title: Business Analyst/Tester with Active Top Secret or DHS Clearance

Location: Ashburn, VA (Hybrid – Must be onsite in Ashburn, VA 2-3 days per week)

Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an active DHS Public Trust or Top Secret Clearance

Employment Type: Full-Time

InDev is seeking a Business Analyst with testing experience. In this role, you will support end-users by eliciting requirements and developers by validating business needs are met. Additionally, you will have exposure to project leadership by gathering and reporting on key project data. The Business Analyst will bridge business needs with technical execution by translating business requirements into user stories with acceptance criterion, write test cases, create requirements traceability matrices, execute functional testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Work with stakeholders, business users, and technical SMEs to gather and refine requirements.

· Document requirements as user stories with acceptance criterion.

· Create requirements traceability matrix.

· Support estimation, prioritization, and release assignment for user stories.

· Support testing activities (i.e., creating test plans, documenting test cases, executing and documenting test results).

· Provide backup support for operations and the help desk when the operations support resource is out, or in times of surge.

· Support Section 508 compliance considerations during requirements definition and validation during testing.

· Contribute to program deliverables, including weekly status reports, monthly progress reports, and stakeholder briefings.

· Develop and maintain process flows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and reports to track system metrics.

QUALIFICATIONS

· U.S. Citizen; Active DHS clearance or Top-Secret Clearance.

· A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or other related discipline.

· Minimum of three (3) years relevant specialized experience in ServiceNow Testing/BA

· Experience working with stakeholders, business users, and technical SMEs to gather and refine requirements.

· Experience in documenting requirements in user story format.

· Experience creating requirements traceability matrices.

· Skilled in writing test cases based on user stories.

· Skilled in executing test cases and documenting results.

· Experience with Agile methodologies.

· Proficiency in tools including Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

NICE TO HAVES

· Experience with manual Section 508 testing and tools (i.e. JAWS)

· Familiarity with Power BI, creating reports and dashboards
