Concrete Batch Plant Superintendent
Location: Norfolk, VA
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the concrete batch plant, ensuring consistent production and quality control
• Manage plant personnel, scheduling, and workflow to meet project demands
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and coordinate timely deliveries
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
• Maintain equipment and coordinate repairs or servicing as needed
• Collaborate with project teams to meet concrete delivery schedules and specifications
• Track production metrics and report performance to management

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in concrete batch plant operations or related construction roles
• Strong understanding of concrete mix designs, batching systems, and quality control procedures
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Familiarity with safety protocols and regulatory compliance
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
