Visual Inspector

We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Shift Visual Inspector for our 1st and 2nd shifts. This role is crucial in ensuring that our plated or anodized parts meet stringent quality standards. Responsibilities
- Visually inspect parts under a microscope or with the naked eye, depending on the department assignment.
- Identify defective parts, segregate them according to defect mode, and notify the appropriate party for corrective action.
- Follow work process instructions at all times unless otherwise directed by a supervisor.
- Maintain accurate production records and other required documentation.
- Cross-train and learn additional skills as needed to assist in meeting shipment and production goals.
- Report all safety, environmental, or quality concerns and may stop production or shipments if necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; some related experience preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to read and interpret documentation such as safety rules and work process instructions.
- Basic math skills, including the ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers.
- High level of attention to detail for identifying defects.
- Ability to follow instructions, accept corrections, contribute ideas, and work well as part of a team.
