Job Description

People Ready Skilled Trades is seeking carpenters experienced with gutter installation in the Richmond, VA area. We offer weekly pay, medical, vision, dental and life insurance as well as referral bonuses.

Note: The hourly rate for this position is $21 - $25 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

Responsibilities:

• Capable of repeatedly lifting 50 pounds to load and unload wood and other materials
• Transport tools and materials to and from the jobsite
• Read tape measure Use hand and power tools
• Use various tools to cut and craft wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall
• Fasten materials together using nails, screws, staples, and adhesives, and perform a final check to ensure accuracy
• Carry material to and from job site NO ROOF WORK, only working on single story homes

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of carpentry experience
• Cutting gutters to required size
• Able to work on ladders
• Able to read tape measure and make accurate cutes
• Use of hand and power tools including tin snips
• Reliable transportation
• Able to work outdoors in all kinds of weather
