JCS Solutions has a need for a Senior Cloud Engineer to support large-scale migration and operations on a large, high-profile DOD contract. The I3TS program provides enterprise-wide IT support to enable DTRA’s Information Management & Technology Directorate (ITD) to consolidate, modernize, and continuously innovate the delivery of IT services and mission capabilities to DTRA’s internal and external mission partners operating in CONUS and OCONUS locations. What you will do:
The specific duties include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

• Work with various Product Owners to deliver new cloud service capabilities.
• Support cloud specific development and testing infrastructure to support DTRA cloud implementations and migrations.
• Participate in the development of user stories, sprint planning, and test case development / execution within an agile project environment. UA
• Designs and support DTRA’s transition and implementation of DISA OneDrive, SharePoint Online (SPO) and other enterprise, cloud-based or shared storage services.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other team members to solve technical problems at the network, system, and application levels.
• Have a significant role in the evaluation and support of application architectures across platforms to ensure alignment to cloud and application modernization strategies, capabilities and requirement sets.
• Participate in the day-to-day execution of the enterprise architecture strategy via agile release schedules utilizing DevOps and CI/CD tool sets.
• Work across multiple projects and systems to develop user stories, system design document, implementation plan document, and SOPs.
• Understanding technical security best particles and guidelines within the cloud platform. knowledge of and experience with security policies, network security, data security and security event management to adopt cloud security services
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must.

What you will bring:

• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
• Must be a US Citizen
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (preferred) with 8 - 12 years' experience or Master's degree with 6 – 10 years of experience (additional years of directly applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree).
• Current IAT Level II or higher Certification such as Security + or CISSP
• Experience architecting/deploying/operating solutions built on Azure.
• Experience with DevOps principles and Automation Platforms such Azure Functions and Ansible.
• Experience with Identity Access Management (IDAM), AzureAD, and CyberArk.
• Strong scripting experience/background (using PowerShell, BASH, and Python.)
• Understanding of Federal Government application, server, and network security requirements such as FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST.
• Candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, a strong analytical ability.
• Expertise in the Atlassian tool suite, to include JIRA and Confluence
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

How you will wow us:

• 5+ years’ experience developing and deploying Cloud Infrastructure as Code utilizing CI/CD tools and automation platforms such as AWS, Azure DevOps and Ansible
• Experience Deploying and Maintaining Azure Virtual Desktops
• Experience Integrating and Automating Intune, ServiceNow and Azure Functions
• Recognized cloud certification, such as Microsoft Azure Associate Administrator or AWS Cloud Practitioner
