Summer 2026 Engineering Intern

SZNS Solutions LLC is excited to offer an enriching internship opportunity for aspiring engineers in the Summer of 2025. As a Summer Engineering Intern, you will be part of an innovative technology team that works closely with our senior engineers to develop solutions based on the Google Cloud Platform. This is the perfect opportunity for students who are eager to apply their academic knowledge to real-world projects and gain valuable experience in a thriving tech environment.

During your internship, you will assist in various phases of engineering projects, from design and development to testing and implementation. You will work in a collaborative environment, receiving mentorship from experienced professionals while also contributing your ideas and input on projects that impact our clients’ businesses.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Engineering team in designing, developing, testing, and implementing various client projects and proposals.
• Conduct research to identify and propose engineering solutions.
• Participate in engineering meetings and training sessions to enhance your understanding of our solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and improve engineering practices.
• Interns will work in the Reston office Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong foundational knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, etc.) and basic understanding of software development processes.
• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and platforms, ideally Google Cloud.
• Must be based in the DMV area and be able to commute to our Reston office at least 3 times a week.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior internship or project experience in software development or engineering.
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Slack).
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and adapt.
