Automotive Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist

Role Description:

As an AP/AR Specialist at Mirak Automotive Group, you will play a vital role in our dynamic accounting team. Responsibilities:

• Handle accounting tasks related to automotive operations


• In accordance with GAAP, manage financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance


• Assist in month end and year end closing processes


• Collaborate with other departments to analyze financial data and provide insights

Key Functions:

• Account and schedule reconciliations


• Daily bank deposits and cash clearing


• Process payables and vendor reconciliations


• Assist with factory payable and receivable invoices and statements


• Monitor client receivables, record payments, and pursue overdue balances


• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Prior experience in automotive industry is strongly preferred


• Bachelor’s or associate degree in accounting or related field preferred


• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices


• Proficiency in software including MS Excel, DMS (Dealertrack), etc. is preferred


• Attention to detail and exceptional time management and analytical skills


• Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
